| A small boy had heard a pirate story where a message in a bottle was sent to deliver a map to a treasure. He was delighted. From the many empty bottles of wine his parents had in store in their dark and damp old cellar, he picked the most beautiful one. On a sheet of paper he wrote his name and age in scrawly letters and greeted the finder of the bottle. To seal it, he asked his parents for help. Together they threw the bottle from a nearby bridge on a rainy autumn day when the river was proud and streaming, and waved to the bottle. Where would it go? |
