The Balcony
Some years ago, we tried to plant tomatoes here. But now the place is lying deserted, overgrown by flora.
For quite some time I planned to clean up, but whenever I thought of attempting it, the plants that conquered the balcony insisted on their right to exist. And basically, I agree to them. Because what could be the measure to permit or deny the right of existence to a thing? A utilitarian answer that ignores the right of the individual to exist also ignores that safety in terms of the most fundamental interests serves the common a great deal. Such a utilitarianism would undeniably lead to economic fascism, where every being is judged by its economical value. unfortunately, this is the reality for most parts of the life and the majority of the world. I don't want to partake in such a practice. So what can I do?
1: Clean the balcony anyway
